Location

South Africa
Finally, the Victoria Falls, one of the Natural Wonders of the world. One can sense the ‘finishing line’ is close. Only Botswana then South Africa.

Toni and the start of the falls in the back ground.

The mighty Zambezi ‘pumping’. We were both drenched.

There was so much mist one could hardly see the falls.

View of the Main Falls. It is difficult to explain the amount of water gushing over the falls. Goose pimple stuff.

More water & water.

The Zambian side of the falls.

We decide to take a walk onto the bridge linking Zimbabwe & Zambia. One has to clear customs on the Zimbabwean side but it was painless and the officials very friendly.

Bungee jumper on her way.

Hanging at the end of the rope just meters from the water.

The Zambezi on its way to Lake Kariba.

As this was almost the end of the road for us we decided to treat ourselves and booked into a’Zambezi Lodge. Dining area in the back.
