After 2 days in Kampala we headed north for Murchison Falls NP via Hoima.

We were prepared for another bad road but were surprised to find an almost new tar road all the way. No potholes. Not quite, from Hoima to Masindi was a ‘riller’.

Finally the Murchison Falls NP in the distance.

The Red Chilli, same name as in Kampala, overlooking the Victoria Nile.

Nice restaurant and pub are to relax.

Maribu stalks in the camp site.

Tame warthogs in the camp site. They make quite a mess, scratching in everything and uprooting dustbins.

‘Pumbas’. They are quite cheeky if you chase them away.
